Netcompany Belgium is seeking an Applications & User Testing Specialist for short-term engagement. You will coordinate testing activities, manage defects, and support UAT campaigns across European projects for public and private sector clients.

The role requires a Bachelor’s/Master's in information systems or related field and at least 10 years of experience in related analytical or application support roles, with strong English fluency and excellent documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master's Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with software testing, defect management, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Strong understanding of incident management, change request processes, and application support activities.
• Fluency in English and ability to work independently in a multicultural environment; previous experience within public sector or European Institution environments is an asset

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and execute application testing activities, including test planning, test execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Identify, document, and prioritise software defects, ensuring timely escalation and follow-up with technical teams.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) campaigns and validate delivered fixes and enhancements.
• Monitor recurring application incidents, analyse root causes, and maintain issue documentation and knowledge repositories.
• Track and follow up on change requests, ensuring alignment with approved business requirements and procedures.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to clarify requirements and resolve functional issues.
• Prepare test evidence, status reports, and documentation to support project and operational activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to application quality, support processes, and user experience.
