Netcompany Belgium is seeking an experienced Applications & User Testing Specialist to coordinate testing activities, manage defects, and support UAT campaigns across enterprise-level projects. You will work closely with business and technical teams to clarify requirements and ensure quality delivery.

The role requires a 10+ year background in BA/analyst or related fields, hands-on testing experience, and strong documentation and stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, business, CS, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Application Support Analyst, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with software testing, defect management, and UAT.
• Strong understanding of incident management, change request processes, and application support activities.
• Familiarity with service management and issue-tracking tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements.
• Fluency in English; ability to work independently in a multicultural environment; public sector/European Institution exposure is a plus.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to clarify requirements and resolve functional issues.
• Prepare test evidence, status reports, and documentation to support project and operational activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to application quality, support processes, and user experience.

As An Applications & User Testing Specialist, You Will

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Application Support Analyst, or a similar role.
• Hands‑on experience with software testing, defect management, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Strong understanding of incident management, change request processes, and application support activities.
• Familiarity with service management and issue‑tracking tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working effectively between business users and technical teams.
• Fluency in English and ability to work independently in a multicultural environment; previous experience within public sector or European Institution environments is an asset
