PwC Belgium is seeking a Consultant to reinforce our Treasury and Risk Consulting Team. The role involves delivering treasury advisory across strategic, operational and process dimensions, with opportunities to lead client engagements and contribute to business development in a collaborative, multicultural PwC network.

You will work in a hybrid setup, engage with global clients, and develop expertise across Treasury Technology Transformation, Cash & Liquidity Management, and related services.

Qualifications

• 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in corporate treasury or related roles.
• Knowledge of Treasury Technology Transformation, Cash & Liquidity Management, or Treasury Transaction Support.
• Interest in Finance & Treasury innovations (Blockchain, RPA, AI).
• Strong interpersonal and team-spirit.
• Fluency in English; Dutch and/or French knowledge is a plus.
• Willing to travel and work on international assignments.

Dependent on the numbers of years of experience, we are looking for qualified individuals that have a solid experience and expertise in 1 or more of the following key areas: Treasury Technology Transformation (Treasury Management Systems, Payment Factory Systems, Bank Connectivity/SWIFT, …) Cash & Liquidity Management Treasury Transaction Support (M&A, divestitures, …)

Your impact

• Contribute to strategic, operational and process advice as well as treasury support to clients, dealing with complex treasury related issues
• Take ownership of assigned tasks within projects with the continuous objective to improve the way of working as well as the quality delivered
• Coach and supervise junior staff on the job
• Develop and lead business development initiatives aimed at maintaining and growing PwC’s position in the treasury consulting market

About you

• 1 to 5 years of relevant experience and ideally already possess some experience in the above areas in a Corporate Treasury, in a leading Cash Management Bank or at a System Vendor.
• A good understanding of at least one of our core service offerings:
  • Treasury Technology Transformation (Treasury Systems, Payments, Bank Connectivity/SWIFT, …)
  • Cash & Liquidity Management
  • Treasury Transaction Support (M&A, divestitures, …)
• Passionate about innovation in Finance & Treasury (Blockchain, RPA, AI, ...)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• The ability to work in a team-spirit environment
• Fluency in English, with preferably good knowledge of Dutch and/or French
• Any other European language or an ACT certification (CertICM) is an asset
• You are willing to travel and to work on international assignments.
