Job summary

Spring Professional Belgium is seeking an experienced Concept Designer to translate business value propositions into user-centred digital solutions. You will shape the initial vision of digital products spanning web and mobile, employee interfaces, and other digital channels.

You will lead the concept and ideation phase, turning insights into clear concepts that guide design and development, collaborating with UX/UI teams to bring validated concepts to life.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in concept design, UX design, information architecture and wireframing.
• Experience leading collaborative ideation and developing concepts independently.
• Familiarity with Agile environments (Scrum/SAFe or similar).
• Strong Mobile-First approach and knowledge of digital accessibility.
• Excellent English communication skills (C1 level).
• Working knowledge of French or Dutch at B1/B2 level is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, brainstorming sessions, and ideation activities.
• Gather and analyse insights from qualitative and quantitative user research, usability testing, benchmarking, and digital analytics.
• Advocate for user needs while aligning concepts with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
• Define and structure Information Architecture to ensure intuitive navigation and content discoverability.
• Develop high-level, low-fidelity wireframes and user flows.
• Map end-to-end user journeys, from the initial entry point to task completion.
• Assess proposed solutions against existing performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Produce comprehensive concept reports documenting research, insights, design rationale, and proposed user journeys.
• Support UX/UI designers in refining concepts once they have been validated.

About the Role

In this role, you will shape the initial vision of digital products and services, ensuring they meet both user needs and business objectives. You will define how users interact with complex digital ecosystems spanning web and mobile applications, employee interfaces, and other digital channels.

You will lead the concept and ideation phase, turning early ideas and research insights into clear, actionable concepts that guide the design and development process.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, brainstorming sessions, and ideation activities.
• Gather and analyse insights from qualitative and quantitative user research, usability testing, benchmarking, and digital analytics.
• Advocate for user needs while aligning concepts with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
• Define and structure Information Architecture to ensure intuitive navigation and content discoverability.

Technical and Professional Expertise

• Proven experience in concept design, UX design, Information Architecture, and wireframing.
• Experience facilitating collaborative ideation sessions and independently developing concepts.
• Familiarity with Agile environments, including Scrum, SAFe, or similar frameworks.
• A strong Mobile-First approach and a solid understanding of digital accessibility.
• Excellent English communication skills, equivalent to C1 level.
• Working knowledge of French or Dutch at B1/B2 level; proficiency in either language is a strong asset.
