The CNC Setup Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Belgium, WI. This role is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating CNC machines for milling and turning operations, including loading programs, selecting tooling, and configuring fixtures according to job specifications. The technician inspects and measures parts to ensure they meet dimensional and quality requirements, makes necessary offsets and adjustments, and documents setup parameters for repeatability. Daily tasks include performing basic troubleshooting of equipment issues, completing routine preventive maintenance, and collaborating with machinists, engineers, and quality staff to optimize production. The CNC Setup Technician is also expected to follow safety protocols, maintain a clean and organized work area, and support continuous improvement in machining processes.
