Job summary

Harmoney is looking for a Backend Engineer to design, build, and evolve cloud-native services powering our platform. You’ll work closely with Product and fellow engineers and have the autonomy to shape scalable solutions from design through deployment.

You’ll craft secure APIs, optimize databases, and contribute to AI-powered development workflows while growing an enterprise-grade backend used by leading organizations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of building enterprise Java applications.
• Strong experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Design and build secure REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Java.
• Develop secure REST APIs and cloud-native features.
• Translate product requirements into clean, maintainable software.
• Design and optimise database models and SQL queries.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to deliver high-quality features.
• Leverage AI tools to improve development speed, quality, and efficiency.
• Continuously improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of our platform.
