Job summary

Work Life Group is seeking a hands-on Cloud Engineer to manage container platforms and cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure for a multinational defence organisation near Brussels.

You will administer enterprise cloud environments, handle L2/L3 support, provision resources with high availability, and automate deployments using Terraform and scripting in Python, Bash or PowerShell. A strong focus on uptime, security and monitoring completes the profile.

Qualifications

• Solid experience administering AWS/Azure cloud environments.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and Docker in cloud and on premises.
• DevOps culture with CI/CD pipelines.
• Fluent English communication.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve cloud issues quickly.

What you would be doing

• Administering and configuring enterprise cloud environments in AWS or Azure
• Handling level 2 and 3 cloud support and resolving operational problems quickly
• Provisioning VMs, storage and databases in the cloud with high availability

What you would bring

• Sound AWS experience: IAM, EC2, load balancers, CloudFront, CloudFormation, WAF, Cognito
• Experience running enterprise Azure environments, IaaS and PaaS
• Strong hands-on Kubernetes and Docker, in the cloud and on premises
• DevOps practice with CI/CD pipelines
• Securing cloud networks, firewalls and access control
• Monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, ELK or Prometheus
• Excellent spoken and written English and a real knack for problem-solving
