We ARE Renewables is seeking a Chief Surveyor to lead all survey operations on offshore and dredging projects worldwide, ensuring safe, accurate data and timely delivery. You will manage the survey team and oversee data quality across projects, coordinating with vessel leadership and project stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a degree in hydrographic surveying or related field, 10+ years in the survey industry, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Hydrographic Surveying, Geophysics, Geology, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• At least 10 years of experience in the survey industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of survey methods, equipment, and software.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate survey teams.
• Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to work in remote and challenging offshore environments.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, quality-focused mindset.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Willingness to work offshore on a rotational schedule.

We are seeking a Chief Surveyor, who will lead all survey operations on board, ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient delivery of hydrographic and topographic surveys across offshore and dredging projects worldwide. You will manage the survey team, oversee data quality, and work closely with the vessel's leadership and project stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

This role requires frequent international travel. Owing to project mobility and travel regulations, candidates must hold EU citizenship.
