The ideal candidate should have 5 years of experience in air cargo sales, strong leadership skills, and fluency in English. Regular travel to European stations is expected.

Hainan Airlines is seeking an experienced and motivated Cargo Manager to lead our cargo sales and operations in Belgium and across selected European stations. The position will be based in the Brussels area, with regular presence at BRU, and responsibility for BER, PRG, OSL etc. and remote supervision of other European cargo operations.

Key Responsibilitie s:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of Hainan Airlines’ cargo operations in the Europe.
• Develop and implement cargo sales strategies to achieve revenue and performance targets.
• Supervise day-to-day operational performance, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with ground handling agents, freight forwarders, and internal departments to ensure service quality and efficiency.
• Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities within the cargo segment.
• Provide leadership and direction to local teams and partners to maintain Hainan Airlines’ service standards.

Profiel

• Minimum 5 years of experience in air cargo sales and/or operations, preferably with an international airline.
• Strong understanding of EU aviation cargo market dynamics and regulatory framework.
• Proven leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple locations remotely.
• Fluency in English required; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
