Nalys in Belgium is seeking an experienced C++ Software Engineer to join a client project focused on complex medical applications. You will contribute to the design, development and evolution of large-scale C++ software using modern standards (C++20/23) with Qt6 and QML.

Join a technically demanding environment where you’ll collaborate with software engineers, architects and stakeholders, review code, improve tooling and ensure high-quality, maintainable solutions.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern C++, particularly C++20/C++22, combined with hands-on experience in Qt6 and QML. You will contribute to the development and evolution of complex software applications within a collaborative and technically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality C++ software
• Develop modern user interfaces and applications using Qt6 and QML
• Work on the architecture and implementation of large-scale C++ software frameworks

Profile / Requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong professional experience in C++
• Excellent knowledge of modern C++ (C++20/C++23)
• Solid hands-on experience with Qt6
• Good experience with QML
• Strong knowledge of Git
• Experience developing and maintaining complex / large-scale C++ frameworks
• Good understanding of software architecture and object-oriented design
• Ability to work independently in a technically demanding environment
