Médiane Benelux, dirigée par un client actif dans le secteur défense, recherche un Senior Embedded Software Architect pour moderniser une architecture logicielle embarquée complexe. L'objectif est d'améliorer modularité, maintenabilité et évolutivité dans un environnement technique exigeant.

Profil: diplôme d'ingénieur, ≥10 ans en développement/architecture embarqués, expertise C++, RT-Linux et modélisation UML/SysML.

Qualifications

• Diplôme d'Ingénieur ou formation technique équivalente.
• Au moins 10 ans d'expérience en développement et architecture embarqués.
• Solide expertise en C++ et en environnements Real-Time Linux.
• Bonne connaissance des design patterns et de l'architecture modulaire.
• Connaissance UML et/ou SysML.
• Expérience avec de grands systèmes legacy.
• Forte capacité de coaching et leadership technique.
• Capacité à communiquer des décisions architecturales complexes aux parties prenantes.

Responsabilités

• Examiner l'architecture logicielle embarquée existante.
• Identifier faiblesses structurelles, risques et opportunités d'amélioration.
• Définir une cible architecturale claire et durable.
• Supporter les leads techniques et développeurs dans l'application des principes architecturaux.
• Promouvoir les standards de conception logicielle et les bonnes pratiques.
• Participer aux revues d'architecture et de design.
• Contribuer à la modernisation de systèmes legacy volumineux et complexes.

Le poste :

Our client, a company operating in the defense sector, is looking for a Senior Embedded Software Architect to support the review and modernization of a complex software architecture.
The objective is to improve the modularity, maintainability and scalability of embedded software products operating in a demanding technical environment.

Your responsibilities

• Review the existing embedded software architecture.
• Identify structural weaknesses, technical risks and improvement opportunities.
• Define a clear and sustainable target architecture.
• Support technical leads and developers in applying architectural principles.
• Promote software design standards and best practices.
• Participate in architecture and design reviews.
• Contribute to the modernization of large and complex legacy systems.

Profil recherché :

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical background.
• At least 10 years of experience in embedded software development and architecture.
• Strong expertise in C++.
• Solid knowledge of Real-Time Linux environments.
• Good understanding of software design patterns and modular architecture.
• Experience with UML and/or SysML.
• Proven experience working with large-scale legacy software systems.
• Strong coaching, mentoring and technical leadership skills.
• Able to communicate complex architectural decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Mandatory requirements

• Fluent French.
• On-site presence at least four days per week.
