Job summary

SGI is seeking a freelance C++ Engineer for a long‑term project in Leuven, starting January 2027 for 12 months. The role requires 3 days on site per week in Leuven and 2 days remote, with strong experience in C++20, Python, and Visual Studio.

Candidates should have OO design skills and Git/GitHub proficiency. Nice to have: C# / WPF, MFC, PLC experience. This is a Belgium‑based engagement with an on‑site/remote hybrid model.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with modern C++ (C++20) on real projects.
• Experience with Python and Windows developer tools.
• Experience with Git/GitHub version control.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software using C++20 in a Windows environment.

Working model: 3 full days per week onsite in Leuven (required) + 2 days remote
