OMP, Antwerp-based leader in supply chain optimization, seeks an Operations Research Developer to design and implement mathematical optimization modules and (meta)heuristics that form the backbone of our software. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a mathematical, scientific, computer science, or engineering field with a focus on operations research algorithms; PhD is a definite advantage.
• Expert knowledge of mathematics and algorithms related to mathematical optimization techniques and heuristics.
• Excellent knowledge and experience with modern C++.

Responsabilités

• Develop mathematical optimization modules and (meta)heuristics that power our software.
• Provide expert support to users of these modules and deliver the right tools for the job.
• Collaborate closely with fellow software developers and with consultants deploying our software in customer applications.
• Write and debug mathematical models and assist in customer support.
