OMP Belgium is seeking an Operations Research Developer to design and implement mathematical optimization modules and (meta)heuristics that serve as the backbone for our software. You will work with a passionate team and collaborate with consultants deploying our software in customer applications.

You will master techniques in optimization, modeling, and software development, contributing high-quality code and taking ownership of your work.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a mathematical/scientific/CS/engineering field with OR focus.
• Strong knowledge of optimization techniques and heuristics.
• Excellent C++ knowledge; Java a plus.
• Experience with Simplex for LP problems.
• Experience with Branch-and-bound for MIP problems.

Responsabilités

• Develop mathematical optimization modules and (meta)heuristics that act as the backbone for our software.
• Collaborate closely with software developers and consultants deploying our software.
• Write and debug mathematical models and assist in customer support.
