In The Pocket is seeking a software engineer to join a multidisciplinary team across Europe. You will develop features, fix bugs, write clear documentation, and review code while ensuring the product meets both functional and non-functional needs.

You will work with AI tools to boost productivity, collaborate in autonomous teams, and participate in the delivery of scalable, high-quality digital products for diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of C# and .NET 6+ (3+ years).
• Good working knowledge of Docker.
• Familiarity with Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or AWS.
• Use AI tools to support daily development work.
• Exposure to Redis, MongoDB or InfluxDB.
• Experience with messaging systems (Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Familiarity with Terraform, Go or ElasticSearch is a plus.
• Master or bachelor in Computer Science/Informatics (or equal).
• Knowledge of OO, design patterns, TDD, CI/CD.
• Value clean code and architecture; eager to learn and collaborate.
• Fluent English and Dutch or French.

Responsabilités

• Develop new user stories and fix bugs in your team's products.
• Review pull requests and document work (readme, confluence).
• Ensure the product meets functional and non-functional requirements.
• Produce clean, readable, and testable code; use AI tools to improve productivity.
• Communicate progress clearly with teammates.
