Capgemini Belgium is seeking a Senior Buyer to shape and deliver the purchasing strategy for a major energy infrastructure project. You will lead negotiations, analyse market trends, and collaborate with legal, technical, and operational specialists to ensure best value and compliant processes.

You hold a Master’s degree and 10+ years in purchasing, with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in a technical discipline.
• At least 10 years in a purchasing role beyond replenishment.
• Strong negotiation abilities and results-driven approach.

Responsabilités

• Contributing to the development and implementation of the purchasing policy, while drawing up specifications in collaboration with legal, technical, and operational specialists.
• Analysing market mechanisms and trends to compare, evaluate, and select competitive bids and quotes from suppliers.
• Leading contract negotiations with suppliers on pricing, terms, and quality of service, supporting cost optimisation with internal stakeholders.
• Managing the full contract lifecycle, from implementation through to monitoring, ensuring suppliers meet commitments and performance standards.
• Providing expert commercial and contractual support for technical projects and one-off or exceptional purchases.
