AG Solution, part of the Quariq Group, seeks a Business Process Consultant to map, analyze, and improve processes for industrial clients. You will facilitate workshops, identify inefficiencies, and design practical, scalable improvements while collaborating with automation and data teams.

You will work on-site with clients in manufacturing environments, building strong relationships and guiding change management through structured process thinking and hands-on execution.

• Define and track KPIs to measure impact of process improvements.
• Collaborate with automation, MES, and data teams to ensure processes are supported by systems.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted process partner.

About the job

As a Business Process Consultant, you help industrial clients understand, map, and improve the way they work. You facilitate workshops, analyse current processes, and design practical, efficient ways of working - combining structured process thinking with the people side of change.

Your responsibilities include

• Map current business and production processes together with client stakeholders
• Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities using structured process-improvement methods.
• Facilitate workshops with operators, engineers, and management to align on improved ways of working.
• Design and document new or improved processes (BPMN, SOPs, work instructions).
• Support the implementation of process changes, including training and coaching of end users.
• Define and track KPIs to measure the impact of process improvements.
• Collaborate with automation, MES, and data teams to ensure improved processes are supported by the right systems.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted process partner throughout the engagement.

Essential skills

• A bachelor's or master’s degree in a relevant field
• You can walk into a process with conflicting inputs, no documentation, and five people with five opinions - and come out with a clear, structured picture of what's actually happening.
• Confident facilitator, comfortable leading workshops with technical/ non-technical stakeholders.
• Structured mindset with a hands-on, pragmatic approach to solving problems.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch.
• Comfortable switching between whatever the client already uses - from a whiteboard and sticky notes in a workshop to BPMN software back at your desk.
• Comfortable working on-site with clients in an industrial/manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

• Process mapping / BPMN experience is an asset.
• French is an asset.
• Lean Six Sigma certification
• Previous experience in a consulting or client-facing project role.
• Good understanding of automation, MES, or industrial IT/OT systems.
• Experience with or interest in regulated industries (pharma, biotech, food) is a plus.
