As Business Operations Manager, you are responsible for the reliability, quality, and scalability of the operational payment and benefits processes within HR Pay Solutions. You combine operational leadership with a hands‑on approach and actively contribute to the further professionalization of our PayOps organization.

You stay closely involved in day‑to‑day operations, help resolve complex operational challenges, and ensure that payment processing, reconciliation activities, and service delivery are executed in a controlled and efficient manner. At the same time, you provide direction to the team, drive continuous improvement, and help build a scalable and future‑proof operational organization.

Your mission

Operations, Service Delivery & Continuous Improvement

• You ensure that payment operations, benefit card operations, and service delivery are organized in a reliable, efficient, and future‑proof manner.
• You drive process improvements, automation, and operational excellence to successfully support growing volumes.
• You build and lead a scalable Business Operations organization with clear responsibilities, processes, and ownership.

Payment Operations & Reconciliation

• You are responsible for the accurate execution and follow‑up of payment processes, exception handling, and reconciliation activities.
• You ensure that critical payments are executed on time, accurately, and in a controlled and auditable manner.
• You identify optimization and automation opportunities to reduce operational risks and manual activities.

Functional Ownership & Business Alignment

• You take ownership of operational priorities, processes, requirements, and improvement initiatives within the domain.
• You align business, IT, and external partners to successfully deliver changes, releases, and new initiatives.
• You oversee service levels, KPIs, and customer‑focused service delivery for payment and benefits solutions.

Operational Resilience, Compliance & Governance

• You strengthen the operational resilience of HR Pay Solutions and embed resilience and compliance requirements, including DORA.
• You develop and maintain operational playbooks, fallback scenarios, incident response processes, and business continuity plans.
• You ensure clear reporting, process documentation, and evidence management for audit, compliance, and regulatory purposes.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• You build strong partnerships with business stakeholders, banks, vendors, and technology partners.
• You monitor operational risks, service quality, and the performance of external partners.
• You communicate transparently about volumes, KPIs, improvement initiatives, risks, and operational priorities.

Your profile

You are an experienced operations professional who enjoys taking ownership of complex operational processes. You combine a hands‑on mindset with the ability to coach people, set priorities, and drive improvements. You thrive in an environment where you actively contribute to day‑to‑day operations while also providing direction and guidance to a team.

In addition, you bring:

• A Master's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Applied Economics, Business Engineering, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in operations, service delivery, or process management within a transactional or regulated environment.
• Knowledge of payment operations, reconciliation, incident management, and process improvement.
• Experience with KPI management, operational governance, and stakeholder management.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to align teams and stakeholders around shared objectives.

Nice to have?

Experience in payments, banking, fintech, or payroll, and knowledge of SEPA, ISO 20022, DORA, benefit card solutions, or core banking processes.
