HR Pay Solutions seeks a Platform Engineer to help build the technical backbone of our payment, core banking, and benefit card solutions. You will manage platform components, monitor operations, and automate processes to ensure reliability and security across Europe.

You will collaborate with Technology & Architecture, Payment Operations, and external partners to deliver scalable, compliant, and production-ready capabilities. Hybrid work with Antwerp presence is supported.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineer with a broad interest in platforms, integrations, and operational technology.
• Experience with platform operations, backend integrations, APIs, monitoring, incident analysis, and release support.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, networking, identity management, SSO, logging, scripting, or CI/CD.
• Structured approach to document and manage complex technical environments.
• Strong analytical skills and a continuous focus on quality, security, and operational excellence.

Responsabilités

• Manage, monitor, and optimize platform components, integrations, and operational workflows.
• Analyze alerts, logs, and incidents, and drive structural improvements.
• Support critical operational processes, incidents, and escalations.
• Build, configure, and support integrations with banks, core banking systems, card platforms, and payment providers.
• Support changes, testing, deployments, and releases in collaboration with business teams, operations, and vendors.
• Contribute to security, availability, and reliability of platforms.
• Automate operational controls and repetitive tasks where possible.
• Document components, processes, dependencies, and known solutions.
• Collaborate with operations teams to address recurring issues and drive improvements.
• Support root cause analyses, SLA monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.

As a Platform Engineer, you help build the technical backbone of HR Pay Solutions. You are responsible for the reliable operation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of our platforms, integrations, and technical operational processes. With a hands-on approach, you actively contribute to the stability, security, and scalability of our payment, core banking, and benefit card solutions.

You work closely with Technology & Architecture, Payment Operations, and external partners to solve technical challenges, further automate our platforms, and successfully bring new capabilities into production. In doing so, you combine operational support with a continuous focus on reliability, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Your mission

Platform Operations & Monitoring

• You manage, monitor, and optimize platform components, integrations, and operational workflows.
• You analyze alerts, logs, and technical incidents, and contribute to structural improvements.
• You support critical operational processes, incidents, and escalations when required.

Integrations, Delivery & Release Support

• You build, configure, and support integrations with banks, core banking systems, card platforms, and payment providers.
• You support technical changes, testing, deployments, and releases in close collaboration with business teams, operations, and vendors.
• You help deliver new solutions and platform capabilities into production in a reliable and controlled manner.

Reliability, Security & Automation

• You contribute to the security, availability, and reliability of our platforms.
• You automate operational controls, monitoring activities, and repetitive tasks whenever possible.
• You support incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery activities.

Continuous Improvement & Collaboration

• You document technical components, processes, dependencies, and known solutions.
• You collaborate with operations teams to address recurring operational issues and drive long-term improvements.
• You support root cause analyses, SLA monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your profile

You are a hands-on engineer with a broad interest in platforms, integrations, and operational technology. You enjoy analyzing and solving technical problems and thrive in an environment where reliability, automation, and continuity are key.

In addition, you bring:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with platform operations, backend integrations, APIs, monitoring, incident analysis, and release support.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, networking, identity management, SSO, logging, scripting, or CI/CD.
• A structured approach and the ability to document and manage complex technical environments.
• Strong analytical skills and a continuous focus on quality, security, and operational excellence.

Nice to have?

Experience in payments, banking, fintech, payroll, or other transactional platforms, as well as knowledge of DevSecOps, security controls, business continuity, or disaster recovery.
