Job summary

Michael Page (Belgium) is seeking a hands-on Business Analyst to join a dynamic organization undergoing a major digital transformation. You will link business and IT, support strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations, and contribute to the rollout and ongoing management of a large digital program at the Belgian market level.

You will gather requirements, translate them into functional specs, and coordinate with stakeholders while supporting evolving internal applications and processes.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar position.
• Background in insurance is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities autonomously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience gathering requirements and coordinating stakeholders.
• Comfortable in both project and operational environments.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Languages: French and Dutch.

In this newly created position, you will act as a key link between business and IT, supporting both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations. You will contribute to the rollout and long-term management of a major digital project at Belgian market level, while also supporting the evolution of internal applications and processes.

Job Description

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of digital solutions
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders throughout project lifecycles

Approximately 50% of your time will be dedicated to a major digital transformation initiative, with the remaining time focused on business analysis, application support, and continuous improvement activities.

The Successful Applicant

• Experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar position - 7 years max.
• A background in the insurance sector is a strong asset, but not a requirement
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities autonomously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience gathering requirements and coordinating stakeholders
• Comfortable working in both project and operational environments
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
