• >10 years of professional experience in a Business Analyst role

For one of our clients in Brussels, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in AI, Intelligent Automation and digital transformation.

In this role, you will operate at the intersection of Business and IT, helping the organisation identify, assess and implement AI and automation opportunities. You will work closely with business stakeholders and implementation teams to translate operational challenges into concrete technology initiatives.

Your responsibilities

• Support business teams in leveraging AI, automation and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and address increasingly complex operational challenges
• Identify business needs and translate them into clear requirements for implementation teams
• Act as an internal advocate and subject-matter expert for the use of AI and Intelligent Automation
• Analyse and document business and functional requirements for new solutions
• Assess the potential value, feasibility and impact of AI and automation use cases
• Coordinate the implementation of new technologies within cross-functional projects
• Bridge the gap between business stakeholders, IT teams and other relevant parties
• Support and train business users to ensure new tools and solutions are adopted effectively

Your profile

We are looking for someone who combines strong analytical and project management skills with a solid understanding of the rapidly evolving AI and automation landscape.

You have:

• 10+ years of relevant professional experience, including experience in a comparable Business Analyst role
• Professional experience with the implementation of AI within a large organisation, ideally in a complex or regulated environment
• Experience within the energy sector is considered a strong plus
• In-depth knowledge of different types of AI and automation technologies currently available on the market
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
• The ability to work independently, take initiative and approach challenges in a solution-oriented way
• A customer-focused, flexible and critical mindset combined with strong teamwork skills
• A degree in Civil Engineering, Business Engineering, Science, or an equivalent Master's degree
• Excellent command of English, combined with a strong command of Dutch and/or French
