Job summary

SII Belgium is seeking a motivated Business Analyst to translate client needs into technical requirements. You will join Agile teams across Energy, Retail, Banking or Telecom sectors, writing specifications and guiding development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Business or Functional Analyst in ERP/MES/WMS environments.
• Master's degree in Computer science or related field.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Experience with UML modeling tools or business process tools.
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Team player with active listening and comprehension.
• Fluent in English and French (additional languages a plus).

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Business Analyst to join our team at SII Belgium. The Business Analyst will be responsible for working closely with our clients to understand their business needs and requirements, and then translating those into technical solutions. You would join various teams working in Agile mode for projects in the Energy, Retail, Banking or Telecom sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for new projects and initiatives
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and goals
• Create detailed project plans and timelines
• Write functional specifications for data processing chains
• Identify and mitigate project risks
• Support, manage the development of projects and coordinate stakeholders.
• Communicate project progress and status to stakeholders
• Write user and business guides, design training or information materials product.
• Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the client

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a Business or Functional Analyst role, preferably in an environment involving ERP, MES and/or WMS systems
• Master's degree in Computer science or any other relevant field
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
• Experience in UML modeling tools or business process tools
• Knowledge of relational databases and being able to write database queries (SQL)
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle
• Team player with active listening and comprehension
• Fluent in English and French (trilingual is a plus)
