NTT DATA Belgium is seeking a Business Analyst to support the Programme Management and Implementation of information systems for External Relations DGs in Brussels.

The role involves requirements management, testing, financial forecasting, and business process improvement, aligned with PM² methodology. You will liaise with IT suppliers and business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet needs and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Master degree or equivalent in a field linked to the assignment or bachelor level with minimum four years of professional experience.
• Fluency in English (C1) for oral and written communication.
• Knowledge of French at least B2 level.

Responsabilités

• Perform business analysis and develop a detailed understanding of business processes, needs and functional requirements.
• Translate interviews, workshops and research into functional requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions to elicit, validate and document requirements.
• Prepare functional requirements, business cases and vision documents per established methodologies.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and IT supplier teams to deliver business solutions aligned with requirements.
• Support testing activities with users, including mock-ups and pilots where relevant.
• Prepare and maintain project and quality plans and tracks against the plan.

NTT DATA Belgium is implementing the project "Support for Programme Management and Implementation of Information Systems for External Relations DGs", withParticip GmbH.

The overall objective of the contract is to deliver and make operational required information systems addressing gaps, supporting the DG INTPA, DG ENEST, DG MENA, FPI and EC strategies as well as engaging in a business transformation, starting with the harmonisation/simplification of business processes.

The Business Analyst will support the business owner in accordance with the European Commission PM² methodology by contributing to business requirements management, testing, financial forecasting, business process management, project and change management, and the provision of ad-hoc expertise.

The role will also provide business-oriented support to IT suppliers, particularly in the areas of user experience, data migration, and quality assurance.

Your role:

• Perform business analysis and develop a detailed understanding of business processes, business needs and functional requirements.
• Analyse business needs and requirements through interviews, workshops, desk research and other appropriate techniques, and translate them into functional requirements.
• Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, validate and document business requirements.
• Prepare functional requirements, business cases, vision documents, and other business analysis deliverables in accordance with established methodologies.
• Support the continuous definition, refinement, and validation of requirements together with the business.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders and IT supplier teams to support the delivery of business solutions and ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Support with the analysis of the business scope and identify opportunities for the simplification, rationalisation and harmonisation of business processes.
• Support internal contract management activities (initiation, verification, offers evaluation).
• Support testing activities through interactions with users, including the use of mock-ups, prototypes and pilot preparations where relevant.
• Prepare and maintain project and quality plans and tracks activities against the plan, provide regular and accurate reports.
• Participate in functional working groups, user committees, project meetings and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Any other tasks identified during the project implementation in line with the project need.

Your profile must have:

Qualifications and skills:

• Master degree or equivalent diploma in a field linked to the assignment OR bachelor level degree in the same field plus equivalent professional experience of minimum four years.
• Fluency in English for oral and written communication as well as comprehension (C1 level).
• Knowledge of French on the minimum level of B2.

General professional experience:

• At least 4 years of professional experience in a similar field.
• Previous experience in business analysis and/or in project and/or operational management.
• Previous experience in international cooperation.
• Previous experience in business management

Specific professional experience:

• Good knowledge of project management standards and methodologies (for example, Agile).
• Good knowledge of project cycle management for International Cooperation.
• A demonstrated understanding of IT or a background in IT.
