Qualifications

• A technical degree is a plus, but willingness and passion matter most.
• Several years of experience in a similar role are advantageous.

• Fluent in Dutch, French and English; good command of MS-Office and basic AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on tendering, planning and execution of technical maintenance.
• Monitor maintenance firms, cleaning and service providers.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance with external services.
• Prepare price requests, compare bids, and assist in contractor selection.
• Check execution for accuracy and quality; take action on deficiencies.
• Coordinate maintenance programmes and budgets; monitor monthly invoices.
• Organize facility services and FMIS usage.

As Facility Manager, you take care of the entire management of the client's buildings. This means that you are responsible for the operational functioning, administrative follow-up, reporting and of course for the long-term relationship with the client.

Your function

• Following up on the tendering, planning and execution of technical maintenance;
• Following up on the maintenance firm, monitoring and cleaning;
• Following procedures and legislation on safety and environment in close contact with external services such as fire and police;
• Preparation of the price request, price comparison, assistance in the selection of contractors and suppliers as well as their evaluation;
• Checking execution for accuracy and quality;
• Taking immediate actions in case of technical deficiencies;
• Preparing, maintaining and monitoring conservation works;
• Checking monthly invoicing from contractors and suppliers;
• Prepare and coordinate maintenance programs and budgets;
• Organizing facility services and using FMIS.

Your profile

• A technical degree (bachelor's or master's) is obviously a plus but we look mainly at your willingness and passions;
• A few years' work experience in a similar position would be nice;
• Responsibility does not deter you and you can prioritize;
• You are independent and stress-resistant;
• You have excellent coordination and organizational skills;
• You have clear and direct communication;
• You speak Dutch, French and English fluently;
• Good knowledge of Windows and MS-Office (Excel and Word). A basic knowledge of Autocad is a plus.
