Mission Masala in Brussels seeks a hands-on restaurant manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the Bombay BBQ restaurant, overseeing floor, bar and kitchen, and serving as the point of contact for staff. You will coordinate FOH, bar, kitchen, and cleaning teams, manage staff schedules, support HR in recruiting, and drive guest satisfaction through service excellence.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in hospitality management, strong leadership, and reliable time management; weekend/evening

Qualifications

• Min 2 years of experience in a management position in hospitality.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and guest relation skills.

Responsabilités

• Be the first in command and captain of our Brussels location, overseeing daily operations across floor, bar and kitchen.
• Lead and coordinate FOH, bar, kitchen and cleaning teams with clear expectations and follow-up.
• Ensure excellent guest experiences by handling reservations, special requests and complaints.
• Create efficient service standards and identify opportunities to improve operations and guest experience.
• Manage staff schedules based on sales forecasts and peak moments.
• Support HR in recruiting new team members and overseeing onboarding and development.
• Coach and manage team performance with regular feedback and a positive culture.
• Monitor labour costs, overtime and shift changes; drive KPIs and profitability.
• Drive sales via reservations management and upselling; manage daily cash handling and financial administration.
• Oversee inventory, supplier relations and stock levels; ensure compliance with HACCP and safety procedures.
