Job summary

EmpHire is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to drive a major digital transformation in the financial services sector. You will define the target architecture, translate business and technical requirements into robust designs, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.

You will collaborate with business, security and delivery teams, evaluate options, and propose pragmatic roadmaps. Strong AWS serverless and event-driven patterns are essential; onsite in Brussels 2-3 days per week

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of professional IT experience.
• At least 3 years in a Solution Architect role.
• Strong experience designing and evaluating architectures in complex IT environments.
• Good knowledge of AWS cloud services, especially serverless deployment.
• Understanding of BPMS, Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), integrations.
• Excellent English communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the target architecture for the transformation programme.
• Design the solution architecture for programme phases and delivery initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into practical, scalable and secure architectural solutions.
• Evaluate alternatives against business value, technical feasibility, security, privacy, cost and sustainability.
• Define interim solutions with a clear roadmap to the target state.
