Black Pen Recruitment is seeking a Business Solutions Architect to join a Brussels-based engagement, onsite at a major client’s IT team. The role requires 13+ years in IT and strong enterprise architecture, with TOGAF/COBIT/Zachman experience and excellent English.

You will guide agile teams, refine business requirements, and drive IT solutions across tools like JIRA, Confluence, and modelling frameworks. EU security clearance is noted as a constraint.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in IT with 13+ years of IT experience.
• Multi-annual experience with enterprise-level systems.
• Experience in Agile and agile toolsets (JIRA, Confluence, Big Picture, Gliffy, Balsamiq).
• Strong knowledge of Application Management Lifecycle.
• Familiar with TOGAF, COBIT, Zachman frameworks; able to model accordingly.
• Strong presentation skills (business & tech).
• Public sector experience; EU institutions an asset.
• Certifications such as CSPO, PMP, PMI, PRINCE2, ITIL v4 are assets.
• Excellent English communication.

Responsabilités

• Operate within the agile process and decide on priority and business value.
• Supervise several business analysts.
• Understand project goals and interact with business stakeholders.
• Propose IT solutions through process refactoring and tool integration.
• Schedule user stories into sprints and review sprint deliverables.
• Organise live product demonstrations after each sprint.
• Support progress reporting and information dissemination.
• Evaluate defects and coordinate with analysts, users, and developers.
