ING, based in Brussels, is seeking an Associate for the Midcorp M&A team. You will advise on strategic transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and divestments, across Belgium and cross-border deals.

The role offers exposure to high-profile transactions and a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. You will develop financial models, perform valuations, and manage transaction processes from due diligence to documentation, while collaborating with clients, investors, and advisors.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field.
• 4–6 years of professional experience in Corporate Finance, M&A, Transaction Services, Investment Banking, Valuation Advisory, or related field.
• Proven experience in transaction execution and financial analysis.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
• Excellent analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership.

Responsabilités

• Prepare market intelligence, sector updates, and pricing analyses.
• Support senior team members in client advisory and coverage activities.
• Maintain internal databases, presentation templates, and knowledge repositories.
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses and strategic projects.
• Ensure documentation and record keeping for compliance, audit, and internal control.
