Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd in Brussels is seeking an experienced LegalOps Project Manager to join its legal function on a contract basis. The role focuses on improving how the legal team operates, bringing structure, process and delivery discipline to projects that make legal work more efficient and easier to manage.

You will plan and run legal operations projects from scoping through to delivery, collaborating with lawyers, compliance, IT and finance.

Qualifications

Proven experience in project management within a legal, compliance or professional services environment.
Experience delivering process improvement or operational change projects.
Understanding of how in-house legal teams and workflows operate.
Strong planning, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to work with lawyers and non-lawyers.
Fluent English; able to work in Brussels.

Responsibilities

Plan, manage and deliver legal operations projects from initiation to closure.
Define scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and resource needs.
Collaborate with legal and business stakeholders to capture requirements and priorities.
Map and improve legal processes, including workflows, templates and approval routes.
Support selection, implementation and adoption of legal technology and tools.
Manage risks, issues, dependencies and change; escalate when needed.
Track budgets, resourcing and project performance; report progress to senior stakeholders.
Coordinate with external providers such as law firms and technology vendors.
Prepare project documentation, communications and training material.
Promote good practice in project governance and continuous improvement.
