g2 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Financial Controller for a Brussels-based freelance engagement of 12 months+. The role involves leading month-end close, reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis within a multinational pharmaceutical environment.

You will oversee closing processes, prepare reports, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement of finance systems and reporting. Candidates should have proven FC experience in complex organisations and ERP implementation exposure.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Financial Controller in complex or international organisations.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and month-end processes.
• Experience in multinational environments.
• Experience with ERP systems and finance transformation projects.

Responsabilités

• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes with accurate reporting.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets and forecasts to support decisions.
• Monitor financial performance, costs and variances for insights to senior stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement across finance, including processes and reporting.
