Daikin Europe, based in Brussels, seeks a BMS Business Development Officer to drive the expansion of our Solution business across EMEA. You will empower affiliates, shape strategic go-to-market plans, and ensure successful BMS project execution in a multi-stakeholder environment.

The role requires strong analytical capabilities, a technical mindset with business insight, and prior Sales or Product Management experience. International travel is possible; great English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or economist with technical interest.
• Strong analytical skills and business insights.
• Experience in Sales or Product Management in a similar environment.
• Willing to be based at the Brussels HQ with travel flexibility.

Responsabilités

• Follow up BMS strategy by steering budget planning and target setting, and monitoring performance per market.
• Develop understanding of BMS Solution Portfolio to support local affiliates in selling BMS solutions and manage pipeline.
• Support local service organization to develop capabilities and processes to sell and execute BMS projects; deliver sales training and create materials.
• Collaborate with Solution Engineering Office in Spain to provide centralized services for affiliate growth.
• Identify blockers and lead initiatives to remove them with stakeholders.
• Act as cross-functional partner on go-to-market strategies and revenue growth with Marketing, Product Development and other teams.
• Analyze market data and competitor information to inform strategy.
• Define business case for EMS Solution and support its development with Partners.

BMS Business development officer in Service & Solution Department

As customer expectations evolve towards premium, outcome based services, Daikin is accelerating the transformation of its services business across EMEA. We are looking for a BMS Business development officer which would support the expansion of our Solution business by empowering affiliates, driving strategic sales pipelines, and ensuring the successful execution of BMS projects.

Based at Daikin’s EMEA headquarters in Brussels, this role operates at a strategic level, acting as a key interface between local sales organizations, headquarters, and cross functional stakeholders. You will help to define and steer go to market strategies, ensure successful market adoption, and drive sustainable and profitable growth of BMS services in the EMEA Region.

This is a multi-faceted business function in close partnership with local sales organizations across EMEA :

• Follow up BMS strategy by steering annual budget planning and target setting and strategic action plans and Monitoring performance and estimations per market and define of corrective action
• Develop a very good understanding of BMS Solution Portfolio to support operationally the local affiliate in selling BMS solutions and follow up closely the opportunities through Pipeline management.
• Support local service organisation to develop their the required capabilities and processes to sale and execute BMS projects. Define, oversee, and deliver high-impact sales training programs and communication materials for internal and external stakeholders across EMEA
• Work closely with Solution Engineering Office in Spain to provide centralized services to support affiliates growth. .
• Identify structural, process, system, or organizational blockers and lead initiatives to remove them in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Act as a cross-functional partner on go-to-market strategies and revenue growth initiatives, working closely with Marketing, Product Development, and other internal teams.
• Analyse collected market (local regulations, habits, trends,…) and competitor information to share.
• Define Business case of EMS Solution and support its development with Partners.

Profile

• Degree in Engineering with strong economic interest or an economist with technical interest.
• Technical acumen and business insights but first and foremost an absolute team player.
• Knowledge of the professional services market or HVAC-R related services or building services is a plus.
• You have strong analytical skills.
• Relevant experience in Sales or Product Management in a similar business environment is a must.
• You will be located in the EMEA HQ in Brussels and are flexible to travel.
• International assignments can be considered for further development.
• Great communication skills & very good English
