Job summary

Indigo Diabetes nv is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Technician to support the development and manufacturing of a novel biosensor platform that integrates microelectronics, photonics and advanced assembly processes. This hands-on role advances prototypes to early production and requires deep expertise in precision assembly, testing and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly or test of complex microelectronic, optical or optoelectronic systems.
Technical degree in Electronics, Manufacturing Technology, Engineering Technology or related field or equivalent hands-on experience.
Proven experience assembling and troubleshooting precision optical and microelectronic assemblies.
Experience working in cleanroom environments.
Proficiency using microscopes and precision tools for micro-scale assembly.
Hands-on experience with microelectronics and/or semiconductor fabrication processes.
Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while supporting team-based development.
Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel).
Proficient in written & spoken English.

Responsibilities

Assemble, test and troubleshoot complex microelectronic and optical subassemblies and systems.
Support development, refinement and transfer of novel assembly and manufacturing processes.
Perform precision work using microscopes and other metrology tools for micro-scale components.
Operate and maintain cleanroom-compatible tools and equipment.
Execute functional, electrical and optical testing of assemblies and document results.
Identify manufacturing issues, perform root cause analysis and support corrective actions.
Conduct incoming inspection of components and materials per quality requirements.
Maintain accurate component inventories and support materials management activities.
Follow and help improve standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions and travelers.
Ensure compliance with GMP, quality controls and ISO 13485 requirements.
Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain.
