Unilever is seeking a Data Engineer Benelux to build and maintain data systems for reporting, analysis and automated processes. You will shape the Global Data Lake and Data Warehouse, and collaborate with local and central teams to drive data-driven decisions across the Benelux region.

The role requires strong SQL, Python, and data modelling skills, plus experience with Hadoop. Brussels or Rotterdam offices preferred, with a hybrid work approach.

Formación

• MSc in computer science, data science, MIS, statistics or analytics or related field.
• 5+ years of working experience in data roles, in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with data science tools (e.g. R).
• Background as a data engineer, software developer or similar.
• Fluency in English and Dutch; French a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Turn raw data into structured data for reporting and analysis.
• Own end-to-end data structuring for reporting, analysis and automation.
• Build algorithms/prototypes to enable predictive/prescriptive modelling.
• Improve data quality and reliability to boost productivity and achieve goals.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts and architects across teams.
• Ensure data work is backed up and accessible to relevant colleagues.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and technologies.
