Job summary
Servier BeLux in Brussels seeks a Junior Legal & Compliance Officer to support Belgium and Luxembourg operations. You will draft and review contracts, provide pragmatic legal advice, and help manage GDPR and compliance risks in a regulated, international life sciences setting.
You will work under the Regulatory Affairs & Compliance Manager and collaborate with teams in France and regional colleagues, developing into a trusted business partner.
Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in a law firm or in-house legal/compliance.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a highly regulated environment is preferred.
- Fluent in English and French; Dutch is an asset but not required.
- Collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with pragmatism.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate legal requirements into practical guidance.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate a range of commercial agreements using approved templates.
- Provide practical legal advice to Belgium and Luxembourg teams across the business.
- Support privacy and data protection matters (GDPR).
- Monitor relevant Belgian, Luxembourg and EU laws and assess impact on the business.
- Coordinate with external counsel under supervision of the Legal & Compliance Director.
- Support the implementation of Servier’s compliance programme and training.
