CBTW is seeking a seasoned Java Developer to join the Software Engineering service line in Belgium. You will design, build, and scale robust software with AI-enabled features, collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

We value strong Java experience (6+ years), frontend awareness, and multilingual communication (Dutch/French plus English). A supportive environment offers growth, training, and international collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent.
• At least 6 years of experience as a Java developer.
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French and English.
• Professional experience in at least one front-end technology.
• Experience in DevOps activities and CI/CD is a plus.

Responsabilités

What service line will you be part of?

As a Java Developer, you will join our Software Engineering service line.

Software Engineering is CBTW's service line dedicated to designing, building, and scaling robust digital solutions, integrating AI capabilities to enhance performance, automation, and decision-making across the entire development lifecycle.

We help our clients transform business needs into high-quality software, accelerate delivery through modern engineering practices, and leverage AI to build systems that are scalable, secure, and ready to evolve with their organization.

• Design and develop reliable, high-performance applications,
• Accelerate software delivery through modern engineering practices, automation and AI-assisted development,
• Build scalable and maintainable architectures, ready to integrate AI-driven features,

Responsibilities

What will you do?

• Contribute to the requirements analysis,
• Write the functional code,
• Design CI/CD pipelines,
• Define protocols and test scenarios,
• Take part in the documentation, code review and deployment,
• Ensure the quality of the developments and monitor projects in term of integration and maintenance.

Qualifications

Who are you?

You :

• Hold a bachelor's degree in IT,
• Have at least 6 years of experience as a Java developer,
• Speak Dutch and/or French, and English fluently,
• Have professional experience in at least one front-end technology,
• Have notions of and experience in DevOps activities,
• Have a solution oriented mindset,
• Can communicate in a structured way about your past projects,

Technologies

• Back-End: Java 17+, Spring framework, JPA, etc...
• Front-End: Angular and/or React and/or Vue.
