Qualifications

• Seasoned Backend Engineer with product focus and end-to-end ownership.
• Experience designing and building backend services at scale in regulated contexts.
• Proficient in statically-typed languages and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on with relational databases, SQL, and ORMs.
• Comfortable collaborating in small, autonomous teams.

Responsibilities

• Own backend solutions end-to-end from design to production and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Frontend Engineers, and stakeholders.
• Apply strong backend craftsmanship prioritizing reliability, performance, and compliance.
• Improve systems, tooling, and processes; contribute to architecture decisions.
• Operate with autonomy and take initiative within the product engineering culture.
