SEIDOR is seeking a Back-end developer to work with European Institutions in Brussels. You will develop backend applications, implement business logic, and design secure data storage solutions.

Collaboration with front-end developers and maintenance of code integrity are essential. You should have strong Java/JEE experience, REST/SOAP API design skills, and hands-on knowledge of PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or 3 years of higher education.
• Experience in Java/JEE backend development.
• Strong experience designing and developing REST and SOAP APIs.
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and advanced SQL.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of OAuth2 and OpenID Connect security protocols.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Ability to design scalable, secure, high-performance backend solutions.

Your role

• Development of back-end website applications.
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developer with server side logic.
• Implement core business logic.
• Creation of servers and databases for functionality.
• Design and implementation of data storage solutions.
• Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
• Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Design and develop APIs.
• Participating in the design and creation of scalable software.
• Taking lead on projects, as needed.
• Maintenance of code integrity and organisation.
• Writing clean, functional code on the back-end.
• Compile and analyse data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
• Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues
• Meet both technical and consumer needs.
• Write technical documentation

Requirements

Level Of Education

A bachelor’s level or 3 years of higher education

Specific Expertise and Technologies

• Experience in Java/JEE backend development
• Strong experience designing and developing REST and SOAP APIs
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and advanced SQL
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
