Devoteam Belgium is seeking an impactful AWS AI Engineer to join our AI engineering team. You will design, build, test, and deploy GenAI solutions and autonomous AI agents on AWS, collaborating with senior engineers and architects to deliver end-to-end value on the AWS stack.

The role requires 2-3 years in cloud software engineering (preferably AWS) with Python, strong GenAI fundamentals, and English & Dutch proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in cloud software engineering (preferably AWS) and Python development.
• Solid understanding of GenAI concepts (LLMs, RAG, vector databases) and traditional ML.
• Foundational knowledge of AWS core services (S3, Lambda, IAM, API Gateway) and AWS AI services (Bedrock, SageMaker).
• Fluent in English and Dutch (French is a plus).

Responsabilités

• Own the design and development of GenAI applications and AI agents on AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker).
• Design and evaluate Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and vector search integrations.
• Support end-to-end ML lifecycle on AWS: data prep, training, deployment, monitoring.
• Write and review basic Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK) and assist CI/CD pipelines for AI workloads.
• Implement guardrails and privacy controls following AWS best practices.
