Devoteam in Belgium is seeking an AWS AI Engineer to join our AI engineering team. You will design, build, test, and deploy GenAI solutions and autonomous AI agents on AWS, collaborating with senior engineers to solve complex challenges and deliver end-to-end value on the AWS stack.

The role emphasizes collaboration with data engineers and clients, ownership from concept to production, and a strong foundation in AWS services like Bedrock and SageMaker, plus LangChain/LangGraph.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/AI/DS/SE or related field.
• 2–3 years of cloud software engineering experience, preferably AWS, with Python.
• Solid GenAI concepts: LLMs, RAG, prompts, vector databases.
• Foundational knowledge of AWS core services (S3, Lambda, IAM, API Gateway) and Bedrock/SageMaker.
• Fluent in English and Dutch (French is a plus).
• Strong analytical mindset, ownership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• AI & Agent Development: design and build GenAI apps and AI agents on AWS.
• Model & RAG Engineering: design RAG pipelines and vector search integrations.
• Machine Learning Ops: manage data prep, training, deployment, monitoring.
• Cloud Infrastructure: write IaC (Terraform, AWS CDK) and support CI/CD for AI workloads.
• Responsible AI: apply guardrails and privacy controls per AWS best practices.
• Collaboration: communicate architectures and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
