Job summary
Expleo Group is seeking an experienced systems engineer to join our rail/transport division in Belgium. You will analyze project needs, assess technical risks, and define formal modelling and requirements to guide development of future autonomous trains.
You will work with RAM, Safety, Cyber, software, hardware and V&V teams to develop design concepts and ensure alignment with European interoperability standards for cutting-edge rail solutions.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree and relevant fields; advanced modelling capabilities.
- Experience with UML/SADT/SysML using ASAP or Arcadia (Capella).
- Background in safety systems (automotive, aerospace, railways).
- Knowledge of rail signaling (ERTMS/CBTC) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Analyze needs of commercial or R&D projects.
- Analyze technical risks and define suitable solutions.
- Elaborate formal modelling and requirements writing.
- Define specifications to lead development teams on future autonomous trains.
- Define system architecture of future solutions.
- Ensure compliance with standards and European interoperability specs.
- Collaborate with RAM, Safety, Cyber, software, hardware and V&V teams to develop design concepts.
