Job summary

B.E.S. (Business & Engineering Solutions) is expanding its Automotive team and seeks an Automotive Assistant Buyer. You will contribute to strategic purchasing decisions, manage supplier relationships, and support future vehicle development.

The role is centered in the Purchasing team at a well-known automotive company, with a focus on cost optimization and value management. You will collaborate across departments, analyze bids, and participate in negotiations.

Qualifications

• University degree or higher education in business, purchasing or engineering.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Interest in the automotive industry and fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare approval documents and ensure procurement systems are up to date.
• Analyze supplier bids, compare prices, and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Prepare for and participate in commercial negotiations with suppliers.
• Monitor price trends, raw materials, and project costs.
• Identify and monitor supplier risks and implement corrective actions.
• Contribute to VA/VE/VM initiatives, track actions and report procurement performance.

B.E.S. (Business & Engineering Solutions) is growing and thus welcoming new Automotive Assistant Buyer in our Automotive team.

As part of the Purchasing team at a well-known automotive company, you will help develop future vehicles. The role involves managing business relationships with suppliers and contributing to strategic purchasing decisions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare approval documents and ensure that procurement systems are kept up to date.
• Analyze supplier bids, compare prices, and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Prepare for and participate in commercial negotiations with suppliers.
• Monitor price trends, raw materials, and project costs.
• Identify and monitor supplier risks and implement necessary corrective actions.
• Contribute to value analysis (VA), value engineering (VE), and value management (VM) initiatives, track actions, and report on procurement performance.

Profile

• You have a university degree or higher education in business, purchasing or engineering.
• You have a good communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• You have an interested in the automotive industry.
• You are fluent in English.
