Weerts Supply Chain (WSC) is seeking an Automation Project Manager in Wallonia to shape the future of logistics operations. You will identify automation opportunities, oversee the implementation of technologies, and directly impact site performance and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate has a degree in industrial engineering or related field, 2 to 5 years in logistics, and fluency in French and English. Strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude are essential for driving real-world transformations.
Join WSC today and help build a cutting-edge Innovation & Automation department from the ground up!
Weerts Supply Chain is continuing to grow and is investing in the technologies that will shape the logistics operations of the future. As part of this, we are setting up a brand-new Innovation & Automation department, dedicated to transforming supply chain and warehouse operations through technology. You will be joining a role that is currently being created: you will play a direct part in developing the processes, standards and methods for managing automation projects. You will be at the heart of our warehouses’ automation and the digitalisation of our operations, with a direct, tangible and visible impact on the ground from your very first projects.
As an Automation Project Manager, you will work closely with operations to identify opportunities for automation, evaluate relevant technologies and oversee their implementation.
You will work on solutions relating to technology, workflow automation, smart systems and the optimisation of logistics processes, with a clear objective: to turn ideas into tangible operational results.
Working alongside our Innovation & Automation Lead, operational teams and technology partners, you will contribute to strategic projects that have a direct impact on site performance.
Your goal? To play a part, starting today, in building the logistics operations of tomorrow.
You will be helping to establish a strategic function within a newly formed Innovation & Automation department, where standards, methods and ways of working are yet to be defined.
You will have a direct, tangible and measurable impact on operations from your very first projects, with real visibility on the ground and amongst the operational teams.
You will work in a unique environment that combines on‑ground experience, technology and innovation, following a ‘build & scale’ approach: laying the foundations today for tomorrow’s logistics operations, then scaling them up on a large scale.
This is a unique opportunity to play a part in a real‑world transformation, whilst developing expertise in automation, the supply chain and operational transformation.
