IntaPeople Limited in the Antwerp area is seeking an Automation Engineer for a permanent role. You will implement and commission PLC control systems and support maintenance on complex faults.

The position requires Siemens S7 and TIA PLC programming, SCADA (WinCC), and knowledge of OPC-UA and Profinet/Profibus, with Dutch and English language skills. Experience in manufacturing and Lean/Six Sigma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as Industrial Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Siemens S7 and TIA PLC programming.
• Interpreting electrical diagrams.
• SCADA systems such as WinCC; knowledge of OPC-UA, Profinet/Profibus is a plus.
• Familiar with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
• Dutch and English language skills.

Responsabilités

• Implementing and commissioning PLC control systems; analysing and assessing industrial automation projects.
• Supporting the maintenance department in the event of complex faults.
• Establishing standards, protocols, models and common practice in industrial automation.
• Creating specifications of the PLC control systems to be developed.
