Gtsgh in Belgium seeks an EIA Engineer (Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation) to design, engineer and commission electrical and automation systems within our projects. You will configure control systems and electrical infrastructure to support successful project delivery.

The role involves developing PLC/SCADA software, designing installations, preparing schematics, and ensuring safety and compliance from design through start-up. Fluency in Dutch and English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electromechanics, automation or a comparable technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in industrial projects or similar environments.
• Experience with Siemens PCS 7 and PLC programming.
• Knowledge of LV/MV installations and relevant standards.
• Familiar with field instrumentation, control loops and automation.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Interest in OT/IT infrastructure and OT security is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop and modify PLC and SCADA software, primarily Siemens PCS 7.
• Design electrical installations including transformers and switchgear.
• Prepare schematics, loop diagrams, and cable lists.
• Specify field instrumentation and refine control loops.
• Translate requirements into practical electrical/automation solutions.
• Contribute to project development from design through execution.
• Support commissioning and start-up of installations.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance and partners to deliver solutions.
• Help ensure technical quality, safety and compliance of installations.
