Job summary

TMC Belgium is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to manage and develop automation solutions for infrastructure, cloud and operational environments. You will contribute to the evolution of the Ansible Automation Platform, improve automation standards and work closely with infrastructure, security, identity and application teams.

Your responsibilities include governance, integrations, lifecycle management and automation standards, while designing, developing and maintaining automation

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of relevant experience in automation or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on with Ansible and the Ansible Automation Platform.
• Proficient in Python and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with infrastructure, cloud, or operational environments.
• Knowledge of certificate management or secrets management is a plus.
• Strong collaboration with technical teams and governance.

We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to manage and develop automation solutions for infrastructure, cloud and operational environments.

You will contribute to the evolution of the Ansible Automation Platform, improve automation standards and work closely with infrastructure, security, identity and application teams.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage and continuously improve the Ansible Automation Platform, including governance, integrations, lifecycle management and automation standards.
• Design, develop and maintain automation solutions using Ansible, Python and PowerShell.
• Implement and support automation for certificate management, secrets management and security-related processes.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, identity and application teams to expand automation initiatives across the organization.
• Document solutions, share knowledge and support teams in adopting automation best practices.

Your profile:

• 7–10 years of relevant professional experience in automation, infrastructure engineering or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Ansible and the Ansible Automation Platform.
• Practical experience with Python and PowerShell scripting.
• Knowledge of infrastructure, cloud or operational environments.
• Experience with certificate management, secrets management or security automation is a strong advantage.
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams and contribute to automation standards and platform governance.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
