Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking an Associate Scientist to provide analytical support for new molecular entities, including small molecules and modalities. The role focuses on Reference Standard characterization, analytical method development, validation, release, and stability testing in a regulated lab.

You will work with LC/IC/GC, develop fit-for-purpose methods, and use CDS systems like Empower/OpenLab to document data. Strong communication in English and independent work are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Bachelor’s with relevant lab experience.
• Hands-on LC/IC/GC including headspace/ liquid injection for GC.
• Experience in development and validation of analytical methods.
• Experience with chromatography data systems (CDS).
• Knowledge of or experience with cGMP and regulated labs.
• Willingness to develop other techniques like water determination and titrations.
• High standards for experimental quality and data reliability.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support for Reference Standard characterization and method development.
• Develop fit-for-purpose LC/IC/GC methods for purity determination.
• Support product and process characterization, validation, release, and stability testing.
• Evaluate data, draw conclusions, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Use CDS tools (Empower/OpenLab) to generate and document data.
• Ensure compliance with GMP requirements and regulatory guidelines.
• Manage priorities and contribute both independently and collaboratively.
