Job summary

Anacura Group, a family-owned analytics leader, seeks a Sr. Scientist in Trace Analysis to lead impurity investigations and develop ultra-sensitive LC-MS methods.

You will design and validate assays, optimize sample prep, and support GMP documentation while collaborating with clients and internal teams worldwide. Qualifications

• PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry or related field; or Master with 6+ years in industry.
• 4–6 years hands-on experience in pharmaceutical R&D or analytical services.
• Proven LC-MS trace analysis experience in drug substances/products/excipients.
• Extensive MS (QqQ and Orbitrap) and chromatography knowledge.
• GMP, regulatory guidance (ICH Q2/Q3, FDA/EMA) familiarity and excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and validate trace-level analytical methods (nitrosamines focus) using LC-MS/MS and HRMS.
• Perform complex sample prep and analysis across diverse pharmaceutical matrices.
• Develop robust extraction/cleanup strategies to handle matrix effects and avoid artifacts.
• Investigate impurity formation pathways and contribute to GMP documentation.
• Deliver data and reports meeting high scientific and quality standards; support method transfer.
