Job summary

Ardena Gent is seeking an Associate Group Leader Analytical Development to guide analytical method development and GMP QC activities for a worldwide client portfolio. The role demands a strong background in chromatographic methods and spectroscopic techniques, with independent project leadership and GMP experience.

You will drive method development, validation, and regulatory support, mentor analysts, and implement new analytical technologies in collaboration with engineering.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master with 5+ years of relevant scientific experience.
• Proven experience in development of chromatographic analytical methods (HPLC/UPLC/GC with MS) and spectroscopic techniques (UV-Vis/FTIR).
• Experience in GMP environments and CMC method development is a plus.
• Ability to run development projects independently, manage budgets and timelines.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills; team player with proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical expert for analytical method development and GMP QC analysis.
• Translate customer project goals into high-quality analytical methods.
• Serve as the analytical expert in project team meetings.
• Lead the implementation of new analytical techniques in the lab, in collaboration with engineering.
• Oversee day-to-day management and support of (Associate) Analytical Scientists performing development and GMP activities.
• Report to the Director Analytical Development.
