Synergie Belgium is seeking a Lab Assistant in Belgium's biotech sector to support aseptic production, including spiking, media exchange, and cell culture in a cleanroom, following SOPs. The role offers full-time employment with the prospect of a permanent contract after 6 months.

Requirements include a bachelor in a scientific field or pharma/biotech experience, strong communication, English proficiency, and willingness to work a two-shift schedule with weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in a scientific field (biotechnology/biochemistry) or pharma/biotech experience; training provided.
• Must work in sterile environment and follow hygiene procedures.

Responsabilités

• Support daily aseptic and manual production in defined SOPs.
• Perform steps in Grade A/B/C/D cleanroom: spiking, media exchange, cell culture, freezing products.
• Contribute to delivering high-standard therapies to patients.

• Together with your fellow operators and the team leaders, you will support the daily aseptic and manual production process according to strictly defined operations and standard procedures
• Execute critical production steps in a Grade A/B/C/D cleanroom environment, including spiking, media exchange, cell culture, and freezing therapeutic products.
• Contribute to delivering high-standard therapies that can make a difference in patients’ lives.

• A bachelor in a scientific field such as biotechnology or biochemistry OR an experience in pharma or biotech is required—comprehensive training is provided!

• Willingness to work in a two-shift system and on weekends (no night shifts).
• A good command of English.

What do we offer?

• Full-time employment with the prospect of a permanent contract after 6 months.
• You will work in a shift-system where you work 4 days of 10 hours followed bij 4 days of rest. You work between 6am and 2am with weekend work also included.
• Salary B 2745 euro + shift bonus.
