Job summary

Televic Rail is seeking an AR/AP Accountant to support daily accounts receivable and accounts payable activities, ensuring timely processing, accurate VAT handling and proactive credit control. You will work with Finance and other departments to maintain clean financial data and robust processes.

You will manage customer and supplier invoices, monitor overdue payments, perform reconciliations and assist with month-end close in a multilingual, international setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• First experience in credit control, AR and/or AP.
• Hands-on with Excel; SAP FI knowledge is a plus.
• Able to work in an international environment and manage deadlines.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of German or French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and follow up customer and supplier invoices, credit notes, expenses and approvals.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and perform proactive credit control.
• Prepare and execute payment runs and allocate payments.
• Perform account and bank reconciliations and investigate outstanding items.
• Support month-end closing and ensure accurate financial data.
• Process transactions in line with Belgian VAT rules and intra-community requirements.
• Respond to accounting questions from customers, suppliers and colleagues.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to efficient finance processes.
